Joy Strempack is an artist, a musician, a philanthropist and a community leader whose work bridges calligraphy, abstract art, digital design, and music. Born in Taipei, Taiwan and now rooted in Fort Lauderdale, her creative and professional journey reflects a lifelong exploration of both tradition and innovation. Her distinctive painting style blends the fluid rhythm of calligraphy with the expressive energy of contemporary abstract art, using acrylic ink to build layered compositions that honor ancient techniques while speaking to a modern audience.

Joy’s path as an artist is as diverse as it is inspiring. After moving to the United States, she earned a master degree in linguistics from Ohio State University and a master degree in computer science from Florida Atlantic University. Alongside her early career in education and graphic design, her artistic voice continued to grow. Over time she refined her craft by blending her cultural heritage with contemporary methods, developing a signature style that is rooted in tradition yet vibrantly original. She is also an accomplished graphic designer who brings the same artistic sensibility to her digital and environmental work, creating visual identities and designs for a wide range of creative and community projects.
